Developer South Coast returns from its summer break on 17 September with talks on Copilot user adoption and SEO tips, and the British Science Festival's confirmed programme runs 16–20 September across Southampton, headlined by Dame Wendy Hall's Presidential Address on the future of AI in conversation with the BBC's Zoe Kleinman. A Chinwag About AI brings a more informal option on 18 September at The Dancing Man Brewery - no talks, no slides, just developers, designers and project managers comparing notes. Looking further out, the Microsoft Cloud (South Coast) User Group's first-ever two-day flagship event lands 22–23 October at the Hilton, Utilita Bowl, with hands-on workshops and expert sessions. Isle of Wight and Portsmouth Hospitals set out AI roadmap to 2031
The two trusts have published a joint Digital Strategy setting out a roadmap to 2031, with year one focused on OneEPR design, infrastructure and a virtual hospital, before moving into AI integration, AI-driven pathways and "smart" hospital operations.
